Product & Technical Specialist – EV Charging (AC Charging)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Product & Technical Specialist – EV Charging to support the growth of our electric vehicle charging solutions business across France. This role combines technical expertise, customer engagement, and project delivery, acting as a key link between sales, engineering, project management, and customer support teams.
The successful candidate will play a critical role throughout the customer lifecycle, providing technical support during pre-sales activities, leading technical aspects of project implementation, and ensuring excellent after-sales support.
This position requires strong hands-on experience with EV charging technologies, charging infrastructure deployment, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Sales Support
· Provide technical expertise to support the sales team during customer engagements.
· Conduct product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution workshops.
· Analyse customer requirements and develop tailored EV charging solutions.
· Prepare technical proposals, specifications, and tender responses.
· Support site assessments and feasibility studies.
Project Implementation
· Collaborate with customers, installers, and project teams to ensure successful deployment of EV charging infrastructure.
· Support commissioning, configuration, testing, and validation of charging systems.
· Coordinate technical activities during project delivery and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
· Provide technical guidance to installation partners and contractors.
· Assist in resolving technical issues during implementation.
After-Sales Support
· Deliver advanced technical support for customers, partners, and internal teams.
· Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and charging-related issues.
· Support warranty claims, maintenance activities, and product updates.
· Develop technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base materials.
· Conduct customer and partner training sessions.
Required Qualifications & Experience
· Minimum 3–5 years of experience within the EV charging, e-mobility, electrical infrastructure, or energy sector.
· Proven experience supporting pre-sales, project implementation, and after-sales activities.
· Strong hands-on experience with AC charging systems.
· Solid understanding of EV charging standards and protocols,
· Experience with commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of EV charging equipment.
· Knowledge of electrical systems, networking, and communication protocols.
· Ability to interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and specifications.
· Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience working with charge point operators (CPOs), e-mobility service providers (eMSPs), utilities, or EV charging manufacturers.
· Familiarity with load management, smart charging, and energy management systems.
· Project management experience in technical deployment environments.
· Technical certifications related to EV charging, electrical systems, or renewable energy.
Languages
· Fluent French (written and spoken).
· Professional English (written and spoken).
