Senior Business Development Manager – Enterprise Software Sales (EV Charging & Energy Technology)
Location: Europe | Fully Remote
Are you an experienced enterprise software sales professional looking to play a pivotal role in the future of clean energy, e-mobility, and smart infrastructure?
Our client is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to drive the commercial growth of an innovative Charge Point Management System (CPMS) platform used by utilities, energy providers, real estate portfolios, and mobility operators across Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify, develop, and close new enterprise software opportunities
• Sell SaaS licensing, white-label platform solutions, integrations, and long-term service agreements
• Engage with C-level executives, innovation leaders, and operational stakeholders
• Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and closing
• Deliver compelling software demonstrations showcasing smart charging, energy optimisation, billing, and platform capabilities
• Develop go-to-market strategies with partners, utilities, and major asset owners
• Collaborate closely with product and technology teams to shape future platform development
What We're Looking For:
• 5–7 years' experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software sales
• Strong track record selling digital platforms or software solutions into large organisations
• Knowledge of EV charging, energy management, utilities, infrastructure technology, or smart mobility ecosystems
• Experience engaging with utilities, energy companies, real estate groups, or large corporate customers
• Exceptional consultative selling, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment
• Existing network within the energy, EV, mobility, or real estate sectors is highly desirable
• Fluent English essential; French and/or German advantageous
