Product Manager
Crossley Scott are supporting a client who are seeking a Technical Product Manager to drive the growth of their EV charging and Home Energy Management Solutions (HEMS) business across Ireland. This is a field-based, relationship-led role focused on building installer partnerships, supporting wholesalers, and creating contractor pull-through demand in one of the fastest-growing sectors in energy and electrification.
You’ll become the trusted technical and commercial partner for installers, contractors, and electrical wholesalers helping them understand, adopt, and grow EV and smart energy solutions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and grow a strong installer and contractor network across Ireland
- Deliver product support, technical guidance, and onboarding for EV charging and HEMS solutions
- Run installer training sessions, demonstrations, and engagement programmes
- Partner with electrical wholesaler branches to drive product adoption, visibility, and stock movement
- Identify and convert domestic EV charging opportunities through contractor relationships
- Collaborate with Project Sales teams to hand over larger commercial EV opportunities
- Maintain CRM activity, pipeline management, and contractor engagement plans
What success looks like:
- Growing a highly engaged installer and contractor network
- Increasing adoption of EV charging and HEMS solutions across Ireland
- Driving domestic EV sales growth through contractor pull-through demand
- Delivering impactful installer visits, training sessions, and branch engagement
- Providing excellent customer support and technical responsiveness
What we’re looking for:
- Strong knowledge of EV charging, electrical products, or smart energy solutions
- Experience working with electrical wholesalers, contractors, or installers
- Technical confidence with the ability to explain products and solutions clearly and simply
- Commercial mindset with a passion for growing business and influencing adoption
- Strong relationship-building, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Self-motivated, energetic, and excited to be part of the EV transition
