The Role We are seeking a Sales Director – North America to lead national commercial strategy and drive growth across the utility-scale solar market.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for developing, managing, and expanding relationships with key EPCs, IPPs, utilities, and developers across the region.
You will own the full sales lifecycle—from market development through to contract negotiation and deal closure—supporting large-scale solar tracker deployments across the United States and Canada.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and execute national sales strategy for utility-scale solar tracker solutions
• Develop and grow relationships with IPPs, EPC contractors, utilities, and project developers
• Identify and secure new business opportunities in the multi-MW to GW solar market
• Manage complex commercial negotiations, pricing strategies, and long-term supply agreements
• Collaborate with engineering, project delivery, and product teams to ensure successful execution
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and policy developments impacting solar deployment
• Build and lead a high-performing regional sales pipeline • Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and customer meetings What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in utility-scale solar, renewable energy, or power generation equipment sales
• Strong background in solar trackers, PV systems, EPC contracting, or related infrastructure
• Track record of closing large-scale, multi-million-dollar energy projects
• Established relationships within the North American solar market (IPPs, developers, EPCs)
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in long-cycle technical sales
• Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on deal execution level
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
