UPS Sales Manager - Remote USA - Mission-Critical Sector
We are seeking an experienced UPS Sales Manager to drive growth within our mission-critical power segment. This role is responsible for expanding market share, developing new business, and strengthening relationships across our Power and UPS product and service portfolio.
The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in UPS systems and Power Quality solutions, along with a proven track record of achieving sales targets through technical knowledge, consultative selling, and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across commercial, industrial, and mission-critical sectors.
- Account Growth: Expand existing client relationships through strategic account management and a deep understanding of customer operational and technical requirements.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize advanced knowledge of UPS architectures, power distribution, and power protection systems to provide technically sound recommendations and solutions.
- Customer Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, contractors, and engineers, providing insights that align system design with business and reliability objectives.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal engineering, service, and operations teams to develop proposals, ensure technical accuracy, and support seamless project delivery.
- Market Strategy: Monitor industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and inform strategic positioning.
- Channel Development: Identify and cultivate new channel, reseller, and partner relationships to support expansion in target markets.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; a technical or engineering discipline is advantageous.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales of UPS systems, power protection equipment, or mission-critical power infrastructure.
- Demonstrated success in developing and managing key accounts within the UPS or Power Quality market.
- Strong understanding of single-phase and three-phase UPS systems, battery technologies, and power distribution applications.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, coordinate internal resources, and deliver customer-focused outcomes.
