This role is responsible for accelerating revenue growth by expanding existing accounts and securing new business, with a focus on the Port Authority electrification market in North America. The position targets OEMs, contract manufacturers, system integrators, and EPCs supporting design, installation, and maintenance for port infrastructure. The successful candidate will develop sales strategies, set and achieve growth targets, and manage key customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including executive-level decision-makers
- Identify and close new business within existing accounts and targeted prospects
- Lead sales activities from prospecting through contract execution
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and report on progress toward targets
- Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape
- Support proposal development, contract preparation, and administrative sales tasks
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows
- Collaborate with internal teams on strategy and planning
- Stay up to date on energy storage and EV charging technologies relevant to port applications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or 10+ years of proven sales success
- Experience in Port Authority electrification or related sectors preferred
- Knowledge of battery technologies and energy storage a plus
- Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools
- Ability to travel up to 45%
