Job Summary
We are looking for an Account Executive with a strong background in Level 3 EV charging technology to join our dynamic sales team in North Carolina.
This role will focus on building and maintaining relationships with key clients across various industries, including commercial, municipal, and fleet operators. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in the EV charging space, particularly with Level 3 chargers, and a proven track record of B2B sales success.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Development & Strategy:
- Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities for Level 3 EV charging solutions in North Carolina.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to closing deals with clients.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to educate customers on the benefits of DC fast chargers.
- Understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions based on their specific charging requirements.
- Account Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing support to customers, ensuring satisfaction and addressing any post-sale issues or upgrades.
- Upsell additional services and solutions, including software, maintenance, and infrastructure planning.
- Market Intelligence & Reporting:
- Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes affecting the EV charging market.
- Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams based on customer interactions and insights.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer communications, and forecast sales within CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
- Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Work closely with internal teams, including technical support, product development, and marketing, to align customer requirements with product offerings.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote company products.
Qualifications
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on Level 3 DC fast chargers or EV infrastructure solutions.
- Proven success in driving sales and managing accounts in the energy, clean tech, or EV sectors.
- Direct experience working with Level 3 charging stations and understanding the technical aspects of DC fast charging solutions.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong ability to develop relationships with key decision-makers, including executives and operations teams.
- Self-motivated and results-driven, with a strong focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and sales automation tools.
- Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, sustainability, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Certifications or additional training in EV charging technology or clean energy solutions is a plus.
