Role Overview:
As a Business Development at L-Charge, you will play a key role in expanding our customer base and driving sales in the United States.
This position is for someone who has an existing book of business in utilities and/or fleet sales/operations. You will be expected to approach your contact network and identify potential customers. Desktop research, conducting cold outreach, and supporting the sales team in managing client relationships would be a part of your daily tasks. This is a remote position that offers the flexibility to develop your skills in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Existing network Outreach: Contact your book of business in utilities and/or fleet sales/operations to pitch L-Charge solutions.
-Cold Outreach: Confidently conduct cold outreach via phone, email, and social media to identify and engage potential clients.
-Lead Generation: Research and identify potential clients who could benefit from L-Charge’s innovative EV charging solutions.
-Initial Contact: Introduce L-Charge’s products and services to potential clients, creating interest and setting up meetings for senior sales team members.
-Sales Support: Assist in preparing sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
-Relationship Building: Develop and nurture initial relationships with clients, ensuring a positive customer experience from the first point of contact.
-Follow-Up: Maintain regular follow-up with potential clients to keep them engaged and moving through the sales funnel.
-CRM Management: Accurately record all interactions, leads, and opportunities in the CRM system, ensuring data is up to date.
-Collaboration: Work closely with the senior sales team and marketing department to align on strategies and messaging.
Requirements:
-Mindful personality: Must be easy going, mindful and preferably practicing meditation
-Sales experience: 5+ years
-Cold Outreach Confidence: Must be confident in making cold calls and initiating contact with potential clients.
-Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
-Customer-Focused: A genuine interest in understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that meet those needs.
-Tech-Savvy: Basic understanding of CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to learn new tools and software as needed.
-Proactive Attitude: Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
-Language Proficiency: High level of proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
-Educational Background: A degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related field is preferred.
