Regional Sales Manager

Overview

We are seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to drive growth and expand market presence in the Southeast territory. This role will focus on developing and managing relationships with lighting reps, specifiers, distributors, and contractors to increase brand adoption and revenue. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-oriented sales leader with a strong background in architectural and specification lighting sales.


Key Responsibilities


Territory Growth & Market Expansion

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to drive revenue growth across the Southeast region.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with specifiers, designers, and end-users.
  • Strengthen relationships with key lighting agencies, distributors, and contractors.


Sales Leadership & Account Management

  • Manage and support independent rep agencies to maximize performance and sales potential.
  • Conduct training sessions, product demonstrations, and market presentations for partners and clients.
  • Drive project specifications through architects, lighting designers, and engineers.


Business Development & Competitive Strategy

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and product development, to align on growth objectives.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior leadership.


Qualifications & Experience

  • 5+ years of sales experience in the architectural lighting or specification lighting industry.
  • Strong relationships with lighting reps, specifiers, and distributors in the Southeast.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and securing major projects.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and travel as needed.
