Senior Project Development Manager, Utility Scale Solar & Battery Systems

Our client is a global leader in the development, financing and EPC management of utility scale solar and storage projects.

We're seeking a dynamic Senior Project Development Manager for their team, based in Texas and focusing on utility-scale solar and battery projects within ERCOT.

Your role will encompass all aspects of project development, from securing land through options and leases, to evaluating feasibility and structuring revenue contracts. You'll identify and engage with early-stage developers, lead commercial negotiations, and drive greenfield development using GIS tools.

Market and regulatory research will be crucial, informing your development strategies.

You’ll coordinate with legal, engineering, and finance teams, supporting financial modeling and ensuring project success.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 4+ years of utility-scale renewable projects experience in the ERCOT region.
• Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing commercial transactions with developers, landlords and utilities.
• Experience in business development and/or project development functions.
• BS degree required, MBA or relevant master's preferred.
• Knowledge of the solar and storage industry, specific regional regulations, and market mechanisms.
